City of London AI Cabinet

An exclusive forum of senior executives navigating AI deployment in financial services.

Financial services is at an inflection point. Whilst firms are investing over £20M annually in artificial intelligence, only 38% of projects deliver expected returns. The gap between pilot and production has become the defining challenge of this transformation, with most firms struggling to prove value to the board whilst navigating legacy infrastructure, regulatory complexity, and talent constraints.

Yet a select group of institutions are achieving remarkable results: 60% cost reduction, measurable revenue lift, and sustainable competitive advantage. The difference is not in the technology itself, but in the deployment strategy, regulatory navigation, and organisational alignment that few have mastered.

The City of London AI Cabinet exists to close this gap. It is a closed forum of senior financial services executives who meet monthly with rotating expert hosts to share unfiltered insights on what works, what fails, and why. This is not a sales presentation or thought leadership platform, but a community designed for those with direct responsibility for strategic initiatives that shape institutional performance, where both the expert-led discussions and the peer relationships cut through the saturated noisy market.

The Venues

Breakfast runs for an hour across a wide range of venues across the City including:

The Wolseley

The Wolseley

Elegant neoclassical private dining with Art Deco gold and black styling. Ornate panelling and dramatic chandeliers create an atmosphere of timeless sophistication.

Market Aligned

The structure is deliberate. The same members attend each month, building the trust required for candid conversation about strategic failures, regulatory challenges, and board-level pressures. Rotating expert hosts (industry CTOs who have scaled AI to production, FCA and PRA officials clarifying regulatory expectations, AI company founders reshaping the sector, indusrty analysits to unpack market news, and risk specialists navigating compliance frameworks) facilitate discussions without sales agendas.

Deeply Tailored Conversations

Prior to each breakfast, members submit questions anonymously through a private members portal. These are consolidated and shared with the expert host in advance, ensuring the session addresses the specific challenges members face, whether proving ROI to sceptical boards, navigating FCA guidance on algorithmic accountability, scaling pilots through legacy infrastructure, or attributing measurable impact to AI initiatives.

Topics span revenue growth strategies enabled by AI, risk management frameworks for algorithmic decision-making, operational cost reduction through intelligent automation, regulatory compliance in an evolving landscape, vendor selection and build-versus-buy decisions, talent acquisition in a constrained market, and the governance structures that enable speed without sacrificing control. Every discussion is shaped by what members need to know now, not what vendors want to sell.

Limited by Design

Membership is by invitation only and reserved for senior executives with direct responsibility for strategic initiatives that shape institutional performance. Members are typically accountable for driving revenue growth through enhanced customer experience, building operational efficiency through cost reduction and cross-functional collaboration, managing enterprise risk whilst enabling innovation, or leading technology transformation that delivers measurable returns to stakeholders and the board.

The Cabinet operates on the principle that depth of relationship matters more than breadth of attendance, and that genuine insight emerges only when the same trusted group convenes repeatedly. Sessions begin in March 2026.

The City of London AI Cabinet is convened by Creatio AI, whose role is to facilitate connections between world-class AI experts and senior financial services leaders. Whilst Creatio AI organises the sessions, these are not vendor-led discussions. The focus remains firmly on peer-to-peer insight, independent expertise, and the unfiltered exchange of what works in AI deployment across the sector.
